HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience with Mark's Cleaners. I brought a 100% silk skirt with tapestry ribbon accented with beadwork to Mark's cleaners to be cleaned. The label stated ""Dry Clean Only"". When I received the skirt back 4 days later, half the beads were missing from the skirt. When I brought it back to Mark's cleaners, the owner {not named Mark} said it was because I had brought in a inferior item of clothing. Mind you, I hadn't even asked for anything at this point. I just wanted to know what happened and where were the rest of the pearl seed beads that had been on the skirt. He [I don't remember his name] asked where I had purchased the skirt as he had never heard of this label. At this point, I was ready to cry. I purchased this skirt from a antique vintage clothing store. I was planning on wearing it that coming weekend to an event. It was a beautiful 100% raw silk PLEATED skirt with gold filigre tapestry ribbon and jet black and white pearl seed beads. Anyone with knowledge of clothing could look at this skirt and know it was quality piece. \r

He offered me $20 and to take off what was left of the beads. He said it would cost him more to re-bead the skirt [mind you, the white pearl seeds were now gone. How he was going to re-bead it without the missing beads, he never addressed] than I probably paid for it.\r

I left the skirt with them for two more days as I had not budgeted my time for removing what was left of the beads on the skirt in my schedule before the big event. When I went to pick up the skirt, they had not removed the beads. They also told me the owner wasn't in and I would have to come back for the $20. I just took my skirt, beads still falling off, and left. I WILL NEVER GO TO MARK'S CLEANERS AGAIN!! MARK'S CLEANERS ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!
Pros: is close to my neighborhood.
Cons: THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER OR THE CUSTOMER'S CLOTHES.
