Moist and Meaty Reuben that was perfect! No frills here...just a great sandwich! 1/18/2009

I grew up in Seattle and have driven by this place for years, but it was never open at the time I passed by. That is until this past Saturday, as they are now open for sandwiches on the weekends. We stopped in as the curiousity over the years had built up and I needed to know if it was good. We parked, went in, and were greeted by the lone employee who was ready to serve. Pros: Great sandwich, flavorful meats, good service. Cons: Not lots of parking, limited hours, no ambiance. more

Nothing particularly noteworthy 12/27/2007

What is it about this town and pastrami? I've lived in Seatle for 16 years, and there have been several places over the years to get a great pastrami sandwich,The Catskill, Roxy's (on First) that place on Madison (Ajays or something like that). They never last. The Market-House is not such a place. more

Delicious! 1/22/2006

My husband and I stopped for a quick bite to go. I had the Reuben and my husband had the Pastrami. My Reuben was mouthwatering. Piled high on grilled bread with Thousand Island dressing and sourkraut. The Pastrami was also good with some sinus clearing horseradish. We will definately be going back. Pros: Reuben, Quick more

Best Corned Beef 12/3/2005

This place has the best Corned Beef and Pastrami sandwiches. I eat there all the time. The customer service is pretty good. Try the coleslaw. Pros: Food, Service, Products Cons: Parking, selection more

best reuben in town 8/16/2005

this is the best reuben in seattle, hands down! i'm glad they started serving sandwhiches for lunch or i never would've known about this place. i can't comment on the pastrami because it's not my thing...but if you want a good reuben, this is the place. more
