I live two blocks away and used to dine in or order takeout every week, until I realized just how bad the food was. It's easy to get suckered into the neighborhood feel of the place, which Market has in spades, but it _is_ a pricey joint, and the food just doesn't cut it. The meat, ordered dry or saucy, is never tender (beef) or properly chewy (pork). The fries, even when dining in, are warm and soggy. The toast is just that: thin slices of cheap white toast with butter. The waitstaff does a great job, but the management, bartenders, and cashiers always leave me wanting to apologize for wasting their time.
Pros: neighborhood joint, good wings, good waitstaff
Cons: poor ribs, bad bad fries, wonderbread?
