Went last friday night and had the pleasure of enjoying beautiful looking food that tastes horrible. Thanks but I don't really eat with my eyes. I eat with my mouth and I like my food to taste good. Sorry. more

Honestly, this restaurant blew me away. From the playfully modern ambiance to the friendly and well-educated service staff, they've got it figured out. Then there's the food. This farm-fresh restaurant seriously has the best food I've ever eaten. I will return as soon as possible (probably for an 8-course tasting)! more

My wife and I dined at Market 17 for our Anniversary. This restaurant just opened a few weeks ago and the concept really intrigued us; fresh, organic and locally sourced. We were greeted by the hostess with a smile and led to our table. Being a Monday night, the restaurant was not busy, there was a group at the bar and a dozen or so occupied tables. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The wine list is a varied eclectic mix of new and old world wines. As a compliment, they have a very creative cocktail menu with some unique offerings. We started off with the ceviche, made table side, which was the best I have ever had. For entrees, my wife had the bison and I had the duck. Both dishes were of the highest quality with sides and sauces that perfectly accompanied the main dish. We had a most enjoyable evening and will definitely return and will highly recommend Market 17 to our friends. more

Great restaurant! Loved the ambiance, the convenient location, and the fabulous frindly service. But the best part of all is the scrumptious food. The chef is very talented. We loved the fried egg starter, the mushroom soup, yellowtail snapper and pork tenderloin. more

My husband and I had an exceptional dinner last Thursday night at the new Market 17 near Port Everglades. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was great. We started with the Table-side Ceviche and the Homemade Sausages. Both were terrific. Everything is prepared fresh when ordered. For our main course we had the Pan Roasted Duck Breast and Grass Fed Colorado Rack of Lamb. Again both were great but the Rack of Lamb was some of the best we had ever had. The Chocolate Chocolate Cake and the Triple Layer Key Lime Mousse were a perfect end for our meal. They also had a very extensive wine selection. We will definitely been returning to try all the other menu items. more
