I can't say enough about Mark Steinberg and his wonderful treatments for my son with ADHD. We tried everything under the sun, and were so happy to finally have found a doctor that helped our son and us to be better parents with his ADHD. Our son had tested positively at age 6, struggled for many years in school, and was facing an uphill battle with his teachers/peers/family regarding his behavior and focus issues. After signing up with Dr. Steinberg, receiving a complete assessment where we learned about our son's learning disability, which made so much sense to us - FINALLY!!! - our son then completed the 20 hour solution listed in his award-winning book, with added voice treatments as necessary. We saw a remarkable change in his focus and improvement in his behavior. After taking our son off the meds he had been prescribed by a psychiatrist (referred by our own medical doctor), our son went thru a complete growth spurt, regained his appetite, gained weight and height, and slept better than he ever had. My son was diagnosed with ADD and we were told he needed medication. We firmly disagreed with medication so we researched alternatives and discovered neurofeedback. Since going to Dr. Mark Steinberg we have had great success with our son. He has been much happier, he is able to focus much better and his mind is connecting much quickier. We have been taking our son to Dr. Steinberg for several months now and he more than deserves the 5 star rating! Having tried everything we could to help our son we were so exasperated with the medical community. Dr. Steinberg changed all of that. Finally someone who listened and ""got"" what was going on and gave some real help!! My son is doing wonderfully now and I cannot say enough about how much support we have received from Dr. Steinberg & Associates. Don't hesitate to help your child or yourself. The silly negative reviews you see on this site are from people who didn't take the time to 1. read the contract (which by the way you will get with ANY psychologist), and 2. give the treatment time to take effect. I am an extensive researcher and took a lot of time looking into what Dr. Steinberg had to offer, and the benefits. It is backed by sound data that cannot be disputed. Just ask him and he'll give you copies of articles...or better yet read his book which sites resources galore. I noticed a significant change in my son's behavior and school achievement after 20+ sessions. This happened quickly for us because I was willing to bring him 3 days per week. The bottom line is the more committed you are to making time to help your child...the faster you will see results. more
