Mark Caribbean Cuisine

You get a ridiculous amount of delicious, authentic Jamaican food for ~$7. I've eaten here several times and it's always amazing food. The brown stew w/ chicken is AMAZING. The curry chicken is great too. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I recommend take-out, as the place doesn't have the best sit-down atmosphere. You know it's the best because there are always Jamaican people eating/ordering! I love Mark's. more

Mark's is really authentic in all aspect of recreating the real back home cusine of Jamaica. The food, the atmospher and the people both working there and patrons made me feel like I was ""BACK-A-YARD"".\r Thanks.. more

I am new to the east orlando (UCF area). My brother goes to UCF and told me about this caribbean place where he gets the best Ox tails and beef patties. I am not a big meat eater, however I keep hearing great things about the Oxtails. I decided to try it and it has made me eat beef (oxtail from Mark) at least once a month. The steamed snapper is the BEST. The snack jerk chicken is very easy on the go while you drive and eat. I would recommend this place for the great food and its great price. more

I was visiting Orlando and wanted to have some real Jamaican food so I visited Mark's Caribbean Cuisine.\r The place was so clean and his staff was so helpful and pleasant.\r I just wanted to try so much from the menu but I went for the oxtails, rice and peas, veggie and fried plaintain.\r This reminded me of being home in Jamaica.\r The food was so tasty . You know it was freshly cooked. I just could not stop eating even though I was full.\r I cannot wait to go back and try the Jerk chicken that just makes my mouth water.\r I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wanted some good home - cooked West Indian food.\r The music and the whole atmosphere is just so soothing.\r Keep up the excellent job- Mark and staff more

I'm traveling from out of town with my family and I was looking for a place that can serve good Jamaican food. I took a chance with this place and I was very surprise by the friendly atmosphere and the people at Mark's. I ordered the Jerk Chicken with rice and a side order. While I was waiting Mark the owner struck a conversation and he was equally nice as his staff. The food was Amazing. The Jerk Chiken dinner was realy realy good. My wife ordered the Veggie Platter and it was just as good. For me it was the closest experience to my trip to Jamaica. I did not think I can find food like they served it Jamaica.. I guessed I was wrong. At Mark's the food tasted better than what I had in Jamaica. Thanks Mark .. I'll see you on my next trip. more

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! TONIGHT WAS THE SECOND AND LAST TIME I WILL BE GOING TO THIS DUMP. THE FIRST TIME WAS THE SAME EXPERIENCE AND I TOLD MYSELF NOT TO GO BACK BUT I FIGURED I WOULD GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANGE. MY FOOD WAS HEATED UP IN A MICROWAVE WHICH SEEMS JUST CRAZY. I SHOULD HAVE WALKED OUT RIGHT THEN. WHEN I GOT HOME I FIGURED IT WOULD BE OK SINCE ITS PROBABLY BEEN COOKED TODAY. NOT THE CASE. THE FOOD LOOKED LIKE IT WAS THREE DAYS OLD. I TOOK A FEW BITES AND AFTER ABOUT 15 MINUTES AFTER I STARTED EATING I STARTED TO GET STOMACH PAINS. DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE. IT WILL MAKE YOU SICK. THE FOOD IS OLD AND CRAP. THE SERVICE IS ALSO TERRIBLE. I WANT TO PUNCH MARK IN THE FACE RIGHT NOW!!! I HOPE YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. YOU ARE GOING TO KILL SOMEONE.
