Sometimes just having someone there to listen to the daily stresses of life in a non-judgmental and caring way can help you feel better. On other occasions, therapeutic interventions are needed build the skills in order to cope with different problems. I have training working with adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with many different issues and disorders. I have experience working with individuals hospitalized with severe depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have also worked with many individuals that are simply trying make improvements with their daily lives. Psychological testing is another great resource to better understand our behaviors and the decisions we make; testing can provide valuable, objective information. I have training in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests. These can help determine if there are: cognitive issues, learning disabilities, anger issues, substance issues, ADHD, clinical disorders, and/or personality disorders. I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples, and families dealing with many different problems and disorders. Additionally, I have training working with acute emotional problems in a hospital setting. On the lighter side, I have worked with many individuals doing well in life but strived to make improvements in one area or another. Many individuals have difficulties with performance anxiety; my goal is to help you perform to the best of your abilities. This could range anywhere from public speaking to athletics.
