In ShortThe 500-seat Forest Meadows Amphitheatre--its stage separated from the audience by a moat, or reflecting pool--is on the campus of Dominican College. The amphitheatre was built for the original Marin Shakespeare Festival in 1967 and has redwood benches with backs. The three shows per summer include two Shakespearean plays and a non-Bard classic, chosen for its ability to fill the big outdoor space. Shows are professionally directed, with many actors cast from among Marin's best.
