What a place... 4/13/2006

I used to go to the old Marie Livingston's off Apalachee before the Super Wal-Mart was put out there and it was the BEST place in town for a steak. It was smaller but so cozy. The new location is a little peculiar...kind of makes it seem like just another hotel restaurant, but it's definately not. They have the best steaks around. Great prices, huge portions and live music (mostly piano). There are little rooms and cozy corners to eat in, it's very nice. more

Top notch 11/9/2005

Have been to Marie Livingston's several time, before it moved to its new location as well. They have excellent prompt service and you will get quite large portions of steak for the amount you pay. It is a little hidden away off i-10, just drive around a bit by Burger King and you will find it. Probably the best steak in Tallahassee unless you want to go to Nicholsons in Havana. more

Marie Livingston's Steak House 8/15/2005

I went to Marie Livingston's for a friend's birthday. We had a very large party so the service was a little lacking. However, the scrumtuous food makes up for that. The hot-out-of-the-oven bread rolls are absolutely awesome so do not be tempted to fill up on them. I had a Kansas City Strip steak cooked medium. The steak itself was nothing extraordinary but the au jous it was sitting it was delectable. While there, I also tried the filet mignon and chicken. Both were also very good. Overall, it's a great steak house for a night out on the town. more

Great Steak 8/2/2005

Marie Livingingston's Texas Steakhouse offers excellent steak and seafood. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch specials are very reasonably priced with very large servings. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. All entrees are served with homemade rolls, choice of potato and a house salad. Make sure you check out the homemade desserts. Banquet facilities are also available. Highly recommended. more
