I'm new to the area, and didn't know where to go to get my nails done. I found Marie Claire Salon's website, and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did!! I felt like a queen while I got my pedicure and my new pink & white set. The women in there were all so sweet and the other patrons were all talking to each other as well. I didn't feel as if they were trying to rush me in and out just to get to the next person. Julie did my pedicure, and she took her time, making sure I enjoyed myself and that I was happy with the job she'd done. Mimi did my nails, and she was fast and they look beautiful! I'm not sure where the other reviewer went - the parking lot Grand Central Station? This place is in Rancho Cordova and they do an amazing job with waxing. I say definitely give this place a try. more

Brazilians are bad, and the only thing that can make it better is a good salon. The online reservation option is a farce. I went in, after scheduling an appointment and they told me there are no waxing appointments available. They finally agreed to see me (in 20 minutes), but I couldn't wait in the salon. The lack of air circulation was apparent with the overpowering chemical smells. I won't talk about the waxing, I'll just say I can't go back. I couldn't even stand to lay there, but I was scared to insult the waxer and have it turn out worse! Pros: parking lot near Grand Central Station (great sandwiches) Cons: the chemical smells are noxious, online booking does not work more
