Marie Callender's

So my wife, her friend and I go there on Friday. We get seated at our table quickly and it's all down hill from there. First we ask order three ice waters wile we look at the menu, it took almost 15 minutes to get to us so by then we were ready for some appetizers so we order artichoke dip and that took another 25 minutes, keep in mind that the place was half empty. So they arrive and we order our entree I order a classic cheese burger and my Wife and our friend order the tri-tip (well done) that has the grilled onions well after 30 minutes the manager comes out and tells us that the girls steaks were served to the wrong table and that they were preparing new ones for them. After another 25 minutes they come out with the steaks but they are both rare and they were the pepper tri-tip not what they order. We have them sent back to cooked so that they are well done like they asked and to get the gilled onions and such to be put on them . After four or five minutes they come back and they are still rare of course and so that was it we told them we didn't want the steaks paid the check and left. I have been to many restaurants in the last 6 years and comparing it to Millies or other places of the like this is the worst I have ever been treated and my friend and I will never be coming back. I have been going here for 20 years and it is still the best in the Town! We have had many additions but none have been able to hold a candle to this local! Both the restaurant and the bar are Great, management has been up & down but the staff has always made up for it. Great place for brunch and sunday football, not too mention the fact it is a holiday destination! i have taken my family of 8 brothers and sisters and their families and everytime has been Great! It isn't Morton's but it is definitely better than Chili's; Red Robin; mimi's and anything else in Whitier except Lascari's(food wise) Pros: Ambience, location, food, lounge, STAFF, regular guests more
