When I moved to grassvalley about 6 month ago my fiance took me to Maria's for my first outing. he recomended the chicken enchiladas, and a margarita it was fabulas and the sevice was great, they sat us at a booth of in the back it was kinda private and from then on we pretty much decided that was our place and would definatly be returning offen. The second visit they refused to let us request our table, so okay not such a big deal, The next visit was really horrible our chicken enchilada's raw, and the margarita's were falling down at the way side thur all visits, third trip we decided we will not be returning, the margarita's were so horrible we sent them back to be remade and the second try was worse then the first. Then the third attempt was getting tiresome because the manager even attempted and the I just asked for a shot of tequila for my fiance drink. The restaurant was not that busy, but it was taking a long time for our food to come we went thur 3 baskets of chip and salsa before our food arrived because of the long wait by then we were full and not impressed with the way the server handled the whole visit, My fiance was mad and vowed never to take me there again because that being at one time our place is what we called it was just not keeping its good standards of food and spirits to what were used to. I have worked in the restaurant buisness for about 25 years myself and am very generous in giving the restaurant and severs the edge, but this is just to many mistakes on 3 to 4 of my visits. I'am really bummed too because the food is really good, what happend Maria's..
Pros: local, parking
Cons: margarita's, raw food at times
