I have been going to the owner, Toni, for over 20 years now. I think that is the best testament for a business that I can give, especially for a salon. Typically, the technician will ""go stale"" on a client after several years, but Toni continues to educate herself and her staff to keep up on all the newest techniques and products to provide her clientele with the latest and greatest that the industry provides. Toni is a consummate professional who takes pride in her salon and her staff. The atmosphere has a friendly vibe starting with their exceptional receptionist, Flossy and Toni's right-hand-gal, Andrea. If you are a curly girl, Toni is an expert in this area, providing services such as Keratin treatments, relaxers and styles to work with your locks. Over and above her curly hair expertise, I would have to describe Toni as a color expert. As a designer, I believe I know color very well, but when it comes to hair, I concede to Toni. I have always trusted her and get compliments on my color and highlights often. With all the processing that Toni has done to my hair, she is sure to never compromise the health and safety of it. Lastly, Toni is honest (ok, sometimes too honest, lol), but her bottom line is to provide the best possible service to the satisfaction of her customers. My hair is thick and unruly and Toni at Maria Nicole Salon does the BEST razor cuts for short hair! I have been a client for years and am always amazed at how much time she takes to get the cut just perfect. This salon is the best in the area! more

I just moved back to Ocean City and needed to find someone who could give me a haircut that suited me. I haven't had a good experience in years. I did my search on the internet and based on the reviews given to the Maria Nicole Salon and Toni, the owner and hair specialist, I made my appointment. I am so glad I did! From the appointment setting with Flossie to the consulting and haircut with Toni, I was impressed. The before and after was amazing. Toni knows her business, and it is not ""one size fits all"". She takes time to consult and shapes your hair according to your needs. I recommend her to anyone who wants a great hair experience. By the way...even my husband noticed the difference! I have enjoyed my visits to Marie Nicole Salon and the professionals who genuinely care and take the time to listen. Flossie is so accomodating and sweet, Toni has wonderful input and makes you feel welcome. Best salon experience I have ever had! I found Maria Nicole Salon by searching reviews on the internet and as a stranger in town, decided this shop was my best bet. As it turned out, I was blown away by what I discovered. Toni swiftly evaluated the problems with my hair color, cut and hair condition. This shop is so friendly and professional that I hate to leave when our three month stay in New Jersey is over! Go there, you won't be disappointed! more

I really needed a new look! I read the article about the salon in The Press and called that same day. I spoke to Flossy who was exremely friendly and set me up with Toni, the owner for an appt. I told Toni I needed a new look. She transformed me! New color and cut. But that's not all!! She showed me step by step how to do the style myself at home and what products to use. My husband and daughter LOVE the new look, and so do I. I also got many compliments at work. Love love love it! more

Toni, the salon's owner has been cutting, coloring and styling my hair for several years, and she does an incredible job with my difficult, thick and curly hair. Just had the Keratin straightening treatment done and its worth every penny. used to take me over 20 minutes to blow my hair out straight. After the keratin treatment, had my hair dried and straight in under 10 minutes, no frizz and it was so easy and I'm not damaging my hair with all that blow drying and pulling. more

Maria Nicole's is a top-notch salon that really cares about its clients. Toni really knows her stuff and knows what works best for you. I come out looking like a new woman!! I have been a client of Toni's for a couple of years now, and I am nothing but pleased with her salon. You always receive a pleasant phone call a few days before your appt. The receptionist is thoughtful and accommodating. Toni takes time to explain every step of the process of getting your hair to behave. She assesses any problems and always finds a solution.
