This restaurant has been a staple of downtown Zanesville for years. Alot of ""bigshot wannbees"" go there during lunch, and it is so dark in there that you could be sitting with your mistress in the dated lounge and no one would ever see you. Lately we we were invited there for a birthday dinner. Food has always been OK, just not outstanding, but the surroundings are really going downhill. Thur the dimly lit atmosphere, I noticed worn carpet and torn upholstery on the booths, as well as mismatched chairs and silverware. I would call the decor ""50's yard sale"". Not going back unless we are invited by someone, and then we will suggest somewhere different.
Pros: Food OK
Cons: Dimly lit surroundings, seemed unclean also.
