I brought my child today to the dancing school to have her picture taken for the yearbook. There were only 2 other children there, so it wasn't over crowded, busy and none of the children were crying, so it was just a matter of being a PHOTOGRAPHER and being patient with kids that they knew were young (3 years old), and taking a decent picture that we are paying for. I completely understand them wanting to move things along, because I did as well, but they lacked professionalism in every sense of the word. The owners of the school were GREAT getting my daughter to pose and encouraging her to smile. The problems with the photographers started when JANE MARENGO, who sat by the computer showing you the pictures that were taken, told me to stand by her to see the pictures. I stood on the right side if her and was able to see the computer just fine. Without lifting her head, she took her left arm and pointed her finger to the ground and said, ""Not there, here,"" in a very belittling voice. I just said ok and overlooked that ... at first!! They took two pictures in less than two minutes (literally), and after the second picture, the photographer sais, ""looks like that one will have to do."" Well, that's when I started to get upset because in less than two minutes he took two BAD pictures without even trying to get my daughter's attention and then just wants to settle on a picture knowing it looked bad. This is his product that he is advertising and he doesn't even care. Also, every time I have had my kid's picture taken, the photographer will at least make an effort to get the attention of the person or people being photographed.
