Best place to eat in San Deigo. I wish they would open up more spots in San Diego. The food is excellent and highly recommended. The staff is very bubbly?and unforgettable. They always greet you with a smile. The atmosphere is splendid. They always have the restaurant looking festive. You have to try the white pizza, and Caesar salad. This is my family?s favorite place. Great for large parties, and banquets. The room that is available to reserve is fabulous!!! Pros: Staff, atmosphere, prices, food Cons: closed on mondays =( more

simply the best 10/8/2008

I went to high school with Pat the owner, and his father had the original restaurant next to our old school - Grossmont High.Pat's is the best Italian food. You know the food is good because every time you go there it is busy.My son and I ate at another place last night because we were in a hurry, and after we both agreed it was not nearly as good as Marechiaros - we won't make that mistake again.We were in Italy last year, and had some great meals, but I can honestly say that Marechiaros is as good or better then anything we had there. more

Pizza or pasta? 9/29/2008

Very family friendly restaurant. great pizza, my favorite is the home made spagetti. Good place for sport's team or birthday parties. Was very busy on a Saturday night for obvious reasons. Had a good meal at a reasonable price. Would recommend. more
