IF YOU HAVEN'T TRIED MARC'S YET, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! THIS IS NOT YOUR ORDINARY FLORIDA RESTAURANT. THE ATMOSPHERE IS SOPHISTICATED, THE BRICK AND DARK WOOD GIVE THE FEEL OF A TRUE STEAK HOUSE. THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL BAR AND LOUNGE AREA AS WELL AS A PATIO FOR DINNERS WHO LIKE THE OUTDOORS ON COOLER NIGHTS. YOU CAN SMOKE ON THE PATIO.
IN ADDITION TO THEIR GREAT STEAKS THEY ALSO OFFER VEAL FILET MIGNON, DELICIOUS
LAMB, HUGE 16 oz. PORK CHOPS, MILK FED VEAL CHOPS, AND SPECIALITY ITEMS SUCH AS
CHATEAU BRIAND, STEAK DIANE AND A DELICIOUS DUCK. THEY DON'T STOP THERE THEY ALSO OFFER A GREAT SELECTION OF FISH WHICH CHANGES REGULARLY. ONE OF MY FAVORITES IS DOVER SOLE, WHICH IS DEBONED TABLESIDE.
SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERTS THEY HAVE SOME GREAT ONES INCLUDING SOME THAT YOU DON'T SEE MUCH ANY MORE SUCH AS CREME BRULE, AND BANANAS FOSTER PREPARED TABLESIDE.
THE SERVICE IS EXCEPTIONAL.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TRY THIS PLACE.
PS I HEAR THAT FOR 2007 THEY ARE ADDING A SUSHI SECTION TO THE RESTAURANT. IF THEY FOLLOW THE SAME RECEIPE AS THE REST OF THE RESTAURANT IT WILL BE HARD TO GET INTO.
Pros: FOOD, SERVICE AND AMBIANCE
Cons: A LITTLE HARD TO FIND. IT IS TUCKED BACK IN A PLAZA CALLED FISHERMAN'S WHARF
