Things started off well. We had reservations for 6:30 on a Friday and were seated immediately. We were also brought some warm, fresh bread not long after arrival, which was also great. We placed our orders and were asked if we wanted the food brought out for our 2 year old daughter first. We said yes and her food came out in probably 10 minutes or so. So far so good. Then in another 10 minutes or so our appetizers came out. Not too bad I guess. Then we waited for the rest of our food. And waited. And waited some more. Finally around 7:40 or so our salads finally came. It was probably at least ten past 8 when our main dishes came out. The food was really good but after sitting for over an hour and a half a 2 year old is pretty much done sitting for the night. Needless to say we had to rush through our meal and didn't get to enjoy it at much as we would have liked. We will probably go back one more time and see if we just came on a bad night or if such long waits are ordinary. We're torn about bringing our daughter back though. On the one hand, it was a pretty laid-back family atmosphere when we were there, as there were quite a few other tables with small children. On the other hand, two hours in a restaurant with a 2 year old is about an hour too long. So I guess if you don't have kids and want some good Italian food and don't mind waiting all night for it, by all means go to Marco's. Everyone else beware.
Pros: food, casual but nice atmosphere
Cons: long wait, parking
