Marconi Apartments

Sad to say that the review above WAS true but not anymore. I'm the new manager here since November 2010, and Marconi Apartments is now far from the slums of yesteryear. Since that deplorable day, we've taken great strides to fix it up and clean it up. Honestly, we do still have one unit that was gutted and has to be remodeled, but hey, when we we do, it will be like new and maybe for you. By mid July, our pool will be opened (work done professionally by permit) and bearing a happy new face lift. And about those deplorable unmentionable bugs - they are now practically extinct here, - (I've been studying, working with pest control and cutting of their water supply). And I'd say that it is now fairly only a problem for those who are complete slobs. (Yes you can leave your dishes for later without a huge pest problem - but don't leave crumbs and liquidsaround for days on end.) And if that's not enough, at Marconi Apartments, pest control is free of charge for any tenant that needs it. We've got a great bunch of tenants here now and would love to include you on our summer parties, (but you have to be a fellow tenant). Only five vacancies left as of this post. I lived in the apartments for a little. When you first walk in it looks nice then you really start looking and you see holes in the upstairs walk ways, lots of holes in the wood that is denigration, trash, condemned apartments, mold, dirty bugs(can't put in the right word cause this site wont let me). When there is an issue the manager tries to hide or angry at you. Eviction is threatened if you complain about things falling apart. It takes forever to get some to fix sinks, doors ect and when they do they either don't work for the owner or its the manager and she isn't a handyman and has cause the problems to be worse. There is so much moister in walls it causes the glass in the windows to mold, mold grows behind everything in the room. The answer to the tons of the dirty beetles( sorry I was censored again) was putting a acid on ground (cause it was cheap) even tho there are 15 kids in complex. This place is a last resort for those who need a place. Rent is over priced, there is no lock on gates for restricted access like the add says, we do have problems with crime here (cars broke into, bikes stolen, fights). For what you pay for rent here you could get a nice place in downtown sac. happy hunting and stay way from this trap.
