I was very happy with Marble Works. They did a good job for a competitive price. But in the first two years, the sink separated from the granite counter top. The responded and come out twice to reattach. Said it wouldn't ever happen again. Several years later, the sink became detached again. I called; I called again leaving messages both times. I went in and spoke with someone asking for a return phone call. I told them what had happened. They asked me how long ago was it installed. I said six years ago. I never heard from them ever after that. Never returned phone calls or when I went in. If they felt it was not their responsibility because of time passing, they could at least have had the courtesy to tell me directly. I reported to the Better Business Bureau. They didn't even answer the BBB's phone calls.
I went to another granite and marble company. They were relunctant to help me, as they did not install it originally. I was desperate. They told me that adhesive only was used and that is not how they install. In their opinion, using adhesive only is not the right way to do it. They finally thankfully agreed to reattach it for me. They did it their way. I was sorely disappointed in Marble Works.
Given my experience of them in the beginning, I never expected them to simply not even be willing to have a conversation. Not sure what's going on with Marble Works, but I could not go back there.
Pros: good in the beginning
Cons: countertop failed twice; they fixed it; failed again
