Maplewood Transmission

I am a single women who knows nothing about cars so i am naturally very hesitant about trusting a auto repair shop to not take advantage of me. Well i was having a running issue so i ask some guys at my work what could be wrong & they said i could be looking at a couple hundred dollars in repairs, They also told me to go to maplewood auto & transmission because they would help me out & treat me fairly. I called to make an appointment , brandon told me that they could pick me up at work (3m) & drop me back off free of charge. They fixed my car while i was at work and to my surprise the bill was only $70, they cleaned the mass air flow sensor and that fixed my problem right up. Brandon also informed me of other parts that should be repaired & order of importance. I felt no pressure to buy anything & i knew they were not trying to sell me anything i didn't need. He told me i didn't need to have these fixed right NOW, i could bring the car back at a later time & even split the repairs up. I had brought my car to another shop to have my brakes inspected and they told me I needed front brake pads, front brake rotors, rear brake pads and rear brake rotors. Something seemed fishy to me, so I took my car to Maplewood Auto Service for a second opinion. After I dropped my car off I recieved a phone call from there service advisor Brandon- he stated the front pads had about 50% left, the brake rotors were good, the rear brakes had about 10% left but the rotors were ok to be re surfaced. Also I find out that the tech that was working on my vehicle is a Master ASE tech. Finally, I have found a place that treats people how they want to be treated. The tech was great, the service advisor Brandon was very pollite, respectfull, happy going and the price he quoted me ended up being cheaper that what he said. This is the first time I have had a great experience like this. I will continue to come to this shop and I highly recommend there services to everyone. I went here for my 1st time last month after checking prices on transmission repairs. To my surprise they were more than half the cost of any dealership around. I noticed that there were many people there that stated they would never go anywhere else. I have been to many repair stations & i don't think i will go anywhere else again. The service staff was completely honest and very friendly. Here you deal with real humans who care about your car.
