Maplewood Animal Hospital

Everyone there has been so helpful. I was a very loyal customer of Bethel Avenue Animal hospital, because the vet was competent and kind, but his front desk staff had a snippy sarcastic attitude. I called over there to get my records, and they had lost them. I called Maplewood to get my dog's meds because my vet was closed (for some reason in the middle of the week), and they not only provided the meds immediately, but for $5 less than my vet was asking. I switched my vet immediately, and have never been happier with the customer service. more

We just love Dr.Williamson and his staff. They are truly compassionate people when it comes to your animals. We have used him for all of our dogs and now live in Anderson. I wouldn't go to any other vet because we completely trust him 100%. I would recommend him to others for them to take their pets there. \r \r Thanks Dr.Williamson for taking such good care of our animals. We appreciate it. more

Dr. Williamson is so nice and caring. He and his staff are the best. He is always very thorough in his exams and goes the extra distance to find out what is wrong with your pet when ill. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! more

We have been taking our pets to Maplewood Animal Clinic for years -- long before Dr. Williamson took over the practice. I?ve always appreciated Dr. Williamson?s expertise and concern not only for our pets, but for us by offering helpful advice that have helped ensure our pet?s well-being.\r \r This was never more evident than a few weeks ago when our mini Daschund required immediate back surgery. Dr. Williamson not only met us at the hospital on his day off, but had all the arrangement made by the time we reached the other medical facility where the surgery would be performed. He followed up with the other doctor(s) and constantly kept us informed. Since then, he and his staff have been wonderful. They have been keen with their follow up on our pet's progress over the past several weeks and are always gracious when I call with questions.\r \r Maplewood Animal Clinic staff are professional, knowledgeable, and most important, CARING. I love Maplewood Animal Hospital! We have taken all our pets there, 2 dogs and one cat. Dr Williamson saved our 2nd dog's life. Dr. Williamson is so caring and calm with the animals and his staff really go the extra mile. more

We unfortunately moved to Georgia and I terrible miss our vet in Indiana! The office staff is delightful and extremely caring! The always took exceptional care of our dogs with genuine love. They always new our names and our dog's names when we walked in. I would definitely recommend this office! more

Maplewood has been around for years. If you had asked me a few years earlier, I would have said, this is a good place to take your vet. Since they've changed vets (due to retirement), however, it's just not as good. They're competent, and they do know what they're doing, but don't have the same caring attitude they used to have a few years ago. PROS: Competent CONS: more
