Maple Woods Manor

If you truly love your family or friends DO NOT take them to this home!!!!! I know from personal experience that this home is very neglectful. Just look at the picture above of my mom's injurys when she was left in their care it makes you sick to your stomach. My mom ended up with a broken shoulder, brain bleed, parkinsons, a large blood swollen knot on her temple, two black eyes and a hand print bruise accross her neck where they try to break her fall which did not work. They said she try to get out of her chair when noone was in the room. Well someone was in there cause there is a hand print bruise on her neck and she did not put it there!!!!!! The prove is in the pictures. Don't ever trust their word!!!!!! They are very neglectful and they will lie to you. Guarantee to happen again!! Just don't let it be your loved one! After the hospital stay we moved her to a different home. It was a very long recovery for her ( about a year) and she will never fully recover from it. Take your loved one to Lutherans Home in Frankenmuth. It's a really Great home with a Great staff. My mom loves it there:-)) more

my wifes mother in law was briefly hospitalized in this nursing home before her death. to be honest we were not terribly impressed and the family was getting ready to remover her when she died. the home didn't seem as clean as it could have been. the rooms were small and there was no attempt to make them homey or comfortable. it was depressing to visit and we often took our children. it was uncomfortable for them. they didn't seem to encourage family visits. with the exception of one person the staff wasn't friendly. we didn't feel encouraged to ask about care. rather discouraged more
