We are fairly new to the Maple Valley area.....Maple Valley Eye Care was referred to us by our chiropractic office. Dr. Neal was so super nice as was all the staff. My daughter made the transition from glasses to contacs and Charlene took the time to make sure she was comfortable putting them in and taking them out. Very very friendly and they worked great with my insurance company with no hidden costs...all the employees are very personable and recognize you on a first name basis. I am thrilled with the care my family has received from Dr. Neil. You won't find a more friendlier office! more

Conveniently located in Four Corners (intersection of Kent-Kangley Rd/516 and Maple Valley Highway/169) in the Safeway plaza, MV Eye Care is a new facility that caters to your eyecare needs. They use state of the art equipment to examine your eye and manage your account. For example, Dr. Neal uses one to establish a baseline reading of your prescription. Soon you can come for your eye check-up and eliminate the need to get your eyes dilated. They are getting a machine that photographs your eye (retina?). Their eyeglass selection was limited for me because of my taste and preferences. However, they carry BCBG, Coach, Nike amongst other industry frame carriers. Dr. Neal was friendly, professional and a good listener. His staff were knowledgeable about their products and services. Overall I had a good experience during my eye exam. I deducted one star because I wasn't happy about how insurance and the new patient information was handled. MV Eye Care handles 80% VSP. Call ahead to make an appointment, it is usually within two weeks. There is plenty of parking available. more

Maple Valley Eye Care Center is run by a husband and wife team of Optometrists. You really get the "small town doctor" treatment here. Appointments never feel rushed and both optometrists are dedicated to your eye health (and not just selling glasses and contacts.) Pricing on glasses is more than the mall stores but it's worth it since you are sure to get the correct prescription here. At least once a year they have a "frame fair" where they bring in representatives from major frame makers. You can save 20% on your order and have a huge selection to choose from. more
