Movies For Less 8/19/2005

Every penny counts, that's why I don't mind driving a teeny bit out of my way to see a movie. South York Plaza gives the locals that option. Don't get me wrong many times I will attend the chain theater in my local mall as it is only 5 minutes from my home. I also will drive down Queen street and visit South York Plaza Movies as the movies are pretty current and the snacks and movie tickets are less costly. more

Discount Recent Release Movies! 8/11/2005

South York Cinemas is a nice, clean discount theater located in South York Plaza off I-83. All shows before 6:00 p.m. are $2.00! All shows after 6:00 p.m. are only $4.00! Refreshments, unlike the big chain theaters, are fairly priced as well. As I'm writing this I know they're offering recent releases and a couple of the movies offered are still in the big chain theaters! This is a great family outing, and great for summer activities for the kids! Ample parking in the South York Plaza parking lot as well! more

$2 movies 7/26/2005

This theater features second run movies. Admission is $2 for anyone before 6 and $4 for adults after 6:00 pm. It's a great place to take the kids. The theater is clean and well kept. They have all you can eat popcorn and soda for $7. It's self serve so it can be a little messy if you are there at a busy time but the kids love to help themselves. They seem to have a nice variety of adult versus kid films. A nice affordable family entertainment option. more
