Wow, please avoid this ""shop"" at all costs. I went in to have my windows tinted on a Saturday afternoon, and ""the tint guy not here."" So I asked ""when will he be back in?"" and I was told ""he be here tomorrow."" I thought 'on a Sunday? weird. But awesome!'. I asked what time they opened, and they told me 8, so I decided to get up early and have it done super early so I could enjoy it through out the day. So I went to work and was excited to have it done tomorrow.
I woke up early and headed in to the shop, got there around 8:20, and it was barren. No one in the shop, open sign off, lights off.. Uh? So I went to get some food to pass some time, and when I got back, there was actually someone there. Cool! Except it wasn't the ""tint guy"". It was just ""some guy"" who said he could do the tint. I thought ""ehhh... if he says he can do it, and I have a guarantee, why not?"" So I drop the car off, and they said they'd call me when it's done. So I go back home and wait on the call. Five hours later, I get the call that it's done. I drive down to the shop, and [from afar] the car looks GREAT! Then I get up close and I notice tons of things wrong. Bubbles, lint under the tint film, tint cut badly, light shining through the gaps between gaskets, and the back window looks AWFUL!
I decide to give the lint and bubbles a few days to go away, just to see if it would get any better at all. It didn't. So I take it back in on the following Tuesday, and talk to them about it. They seem uppity about it. Very unhappy that I came back, and complained about the job they did. They ask when I can come back to have it redone. I thought ""sweet, it'll be right this time!"". I tell them I have work that night, and can bring it by tomorrow morning. So I drop it off, and wait for the call.
It takes about 6 hours this time, so I figured they would be doing it perfect this time. So I get the call to come back, and again, looks good at first, better than before up close, but still some very wrong things. Again, tint is cut sloppily, lint underneath the tint, and the kicker: instead of redoing one window that had a gap between the gasket and tint, they just marked on the bare window with a black marker. Way to go! Just ruined my window!
It's not hard to do it right. If I wanted a sloppy job that looks like someone with no experience did it, I would have done it. I wanted a professional job, and that's not even close to what I got. Unprofessional employees, disgusting shop [including dog, and dog pee, and flies!] and an overall unpleasant atmosphere.
I paid $140 for a good tint job, and I got a trash tint job worth maybe $60. That's just for the cost of the tint. Please, for the sake of your car, go to a decent shop. Pay the extra $100 and get it done RIGHT.
Pros: Nice parking?
Cons: Everything else.
