I was very upset by how poorly I was treated by the PA-C, Connie Anderson. Additionally, I found the staff that I encountered to be quite rude. Overall, my experience was very bad. I wouldn't recommend this Center to anyone. more

Dermatology Center of Grand Rapids regards the health and concerns of its patients as very serious matters. We have accordingly investigated the anonymous complaints posted on this website and believe that they were made by a person who last sought treatment from us several years ago. We are certain that this person's allegations are untrue, particularly the claim that this person received any injury through treatment from one of our providers. more

Connie Anderson (under the supposed supervision of Dr. Evelyn Vanderveen), permanently injured my face with a laser. I met with Dr. Vanderveen to discuss the damage to my face. However, she was confrontational and refused to examine the obvious injury. The Dermatology Center, Mrs. Anderson and Dr. Vanderveen then sent me a letter saying they would no longer provide me with medical care. I was shocked. I trusted them and they left me injured and without help. I finally went to the Mayo Clinic for help. The doctor at the Mayo Clinic CONFIRMED and documented the damage to my entire face. It gets worse, now the Dermatology Center, Connie Anderson & Dr. Vanderveen have repeatedly threatened me with financial hardship and other difficulties (via attorney) if I don't remove my review! Also, they are putting up on-line denials and reviewing themselves (giving themselves a great rating, of course)! This has been the worst experience of my life. Imagine having your entire face injured, and having the people responsible refuse to even try to help and then threaten you! My entire face was injured at the Dermatology Center of Grand Rapids. I went to Connie Anderson for a laser procedure and she permanently injured my entire face. Connie Anderson was supposed to be supervised by Dr. Evelyn Vanderveen. I met with Dr. Vanderveen, however she was confrontational and refused to examine the obvious injury. The Dermatology Center, Connie Anderson and Dr. Vanderveen then sent me a letter saying that they would no longer provide me with medical care. I was stunned. They have also put up denials and have rated themselves on various websites (giving themselves a great rating, of course)!! This has been the most painful experience of my entire life. Please imagine having your entire face injured and then having the people who injured you, refuse to help and threaten you!!
