SO DISAPPOINTED. I've been going to Manhattan Express Tailor for years for easy alterations. One time I noticed that they cut my jeans too short but I let it go. I tend to be a loyal type of customer with all my local shops. I referred my friend to them and she wasn't happy with her jeans either. As if I didn't learn my lesson, I went recently to alter a bridesmaid dress. I thought she would take care of me since I've been a regular customer (she even knows my name when I walk in). After having one too many experiences of pants being hemmed too short, (I like them a little bit long and no one seems to get this), Manhattan Express Tailors did the job and did it beautifully. I must say, when you spend anywhere from $150-$200, on a pair of jeans, the last thing you want is for someone to hem them too short. I'm so excited that I finally have a tailor I can trust. Thank you!!! Pros: Great craftsmanship, really listened to what I wanted. more

Great Tailor! 9/25/2006

My altered clothes came back better than new. I do agree the prices were slightly higher than some dry cleaners I have used in the past, but in this shop you can actually see the tailors working, no crowded back room area. And teh work is excellent. Pros: Excellent product, very bright and open feel Cons: Parking some times tight, little pricy more

They can fix anything! 7/12/2006

I lost a lot of weight and needed my entire wardrobe altered. My clothes feel better than new, they feel like they were custom made for me! Best tailor in the South Bay! Pros: Excellent service, can fix anything Cons: Pricey, but you get what you pay for, needs more parking more
