I had located some books on Amazon for my son. I thought I would go to a local store rather than buy online. When I walked into The Manager, there were 2 other customers in the store. I found a (female) sales associate sitting at a counter on a stool. I asked her if she could help me. NOTE: She did NOT approach me! When I asked her if they had the book I was looking for , she asked who the author is. when I told her I didn't know, she said she couldn't help me. Maybe the girl at the counter can help me when she's finished with her customers. Alrighty then...\r
So I went to front counter and a very nice girl helped me. She informed me that they did not have the titles I wanted. She said they could order it and I would have it in two weeks.\r
Now, my question to you, owners of The Manager, Why in the world would I want to PAY MORE, WAIT LONGER and be TREATED BADLY just so I can support local business?\r
These stores are going to have to learn that we consumers have other options now.\r
BTW, I ordered from Amazon and had the books on my front door less than 1 day after I ordered.
Cons: Very poor customer service
