his review is for the Manee House (Thai food) not the German Place. My friends and I have celebrated 2 birthdays at the Manee house this year. Everything about this place is great. We have had a variety of dishes & they were all flavorful and nicely presented. The service is very good also. Finally, the prices are extremely reasonable. Our total bill for a party of 6 with at least 14 beers was only $120.00. Where else can everyone fill up with great food for that cheap? I highly recommend this restaurant. I am sorry it is not more crowded as they certainly deserve the business! Pros: Food tastes Great more

Sehr Lecker! 6/3/2006

I have been going to the German Place for several years. Every time I go it reminds me how good their food is! The waitresses have always been friendly, the food is always as good as I remember, and you can't beat their beer selection! Their zwiebelbraten and sauerbraten are both incredibly tender and moist, their sauerkraut is as good than I have had in most places in Germany (I lived there for 6 months). Whenever I feel the need to relive my time in Germany, I head here for some exellent food and beer. Pros: Great beer, Great food, Family owned more

Good German food 7/28/2005

I've been to The German Place Deli numerous times and have never been dissapointed. There are so many good dishes to choose from such as: Sauerbraten, Wienerschnitzel, Schweinbraten, and Beef Roulade. Everything is well prepared and desserts are great too. German cuisine is hard to come by in Southern California so this place is great to come too. Pros: Good food,, good desserts, Beer and Wine Cons: Closed Mondays more
