Best

I ate at the Mandarin Kitchen before their remodel and I loved it. Taro cakes are my favorite, also the pork stuffed taro dumplings, oh and those egg tarts for desert! I will not ...

Worst

This used to be a fantastic little place for dim sum. Well, after they remodeled, they must have changed chefs or something. Their food is still good, but not like it used to be...

Mixed Feelings 2/16/2004

While the food there are always pretty good and they usually have some of the better and more consistent seafood dish around town, their service is horrible. I was there the other night and the server totally ignored the fact that I did not have a plate, silverware, napkins etc. When I asked him for some he brought an incomplete set to me. If you go there you have to definitely try out their traditional cantonese menu or if you go there during lunch on the weekend try their dimsum. Pros: value, selection, food Cons: , noise level more

Great Food 10/23/2003

I always have great food here, but sometimes the waiters are rude. They do have very tasty walleye thought, and their cream cheese wontons are great. Pros: good parking more

You know you're eating good dim sum..... 4/17/2003

....when you are the only white person in the room! This place is authentic. If you have not tried dim sum, this is a great place to begin. Just take it slowly and remember that there will be another cart coming around shortly. I was very impressed by the variety of foods. This place is very crowded on weekends so get here as soon as you can.....any later than noon and you'll have to wait for a table! But that's how you know it's worth the wait so it's not so bad. Pros: inexpensive, authentic, prompt service Cons: crowded more

Authentic Dim Sum 8/29/2002

The dim sum here is fantastic. Good, authentic food. Just don't do what I did and go crazy on the first cart that comes by, they have many carts and it's good to try and save room on your table for other dishes. The dumplings are good and they have a nice variety of authentic dishes. Haven't gone for dinner, but if the dim sum is any representative of overall food there, then dinner must be great! Pros: authentic more

really fresh seafood 8/11/2002

Quality Chinese food in a quiet strip-mall location. Food is of excellent quality and portions are large. Waiters are friendly and courteous. more

Made Fresh 8/5/2002

This is the best Chinese American restaurant around. It is great to bring the family, plenty of room, offers menu or buffet. You know they make it fresh just from the taste. Hot or spicy, American or Authentic Chinese menus are both available. Pros: Carry Out Available, Great Service, Even Greater Prices more
