This restaurant has been in Pigeon Forge for a few years. It is a large restaurant that can accommodate hundreds of diners. The original Mandarin House Restaurant has been a Knoxville tradition for almost two decades. There are at least 7 serving islands with a wide variety of items. You pay one price for all you care to eat. I sometimes find that concept a little disgusting when I see how some customers fill their plates to overflowing. They have a full salad bar, desert bar and all the traditional Chinese dishes. There is a heavy emphasis on chicken dishes. There lemon chicken is very good. Normally we go for the lunch buffet which is served until 4pm. The lunch buffet is a few dollars less than the dinner buffet. They also give a local discount. They are constantly bringing out fresh food. It is very clean and the servers who bring the drinks are very polite. If you like all you care to eat places this would be a good choice. Take a moment to notice all the beautiful chandeliers overhead.
