Mandana Salon

I saw this salon and it looked nice from the outside. I called to ask what the price of a service would be and a lady who did not speak English well enough to understand me got on the phone and told me not to come in if I was going to argue about the price. I have never been more insulted. Later on I met someone who had extensions there and they looked awful and stringy and they kept charging her more and more to fix them. She was very unhappy and had paid an exprbitant amount. I recommended the salon I finally chose for my extensions and she went there to fix them. more

I came to Kobra Spa Salon for the first time in September of '09' looking for a professional hair expert who will color my hair to match extensions i was having week before my wedding. I was amazed with the results and how accurate and great my hair looked!!! \r \r I have been going there since I got married and I am always impressed with the results and feel of my hair.\r \r I strongly recomend their hair products. I absolutely love Kobra Spa and Salon. I currently live in Buckhead and travel to Alpharetta just for the wonderful and friendly service. I tend to like to change my hair color often, and Mondanna specializes in creating a look that I love, while maintaining my hair's integrity. The color the salon uses are top notch, and I've never had damaged hair. Additionally, she is very good at cutting as well, both men and women's styles. Apart from the service, Mondanna (sp) is a very warm and friendly woman, and her customers' happiness is of utmost priority. I highly recommend Kobra Spa and Salon! An excellent Spa Salon to pamper your spirit. Mondana is very creative with hair---design and color. She has a gift of customer service. Schedule an appointment early she keeps her schedule full. I started getting my hair done at Kobra about a year ago. i usually get my hair cut, colored and i also get hair extentions (which i love) every once in a while, and i must say that it is wonderful to finnaly find a GREAT hairdresser!. I travel all over the world for my job and i somtimes get my hair done with those high fashion hairdressers in Europe and the hairdressers at Kobra are just as good as the European salons! the price may be alittle high, but you will get amazing results. you must try it out! trust me :) Pros: one of the best educated hairdressers in Georgia! more

I called to ask for a price on a process. Got a rude response and then I got hung up on. I shouldn't have to pay 25 bucks to look at my hair to tell me how much a simple process was going to cost. NO THANKS. I'll go to Buckhead for better service and better products and results. Cons: broken english, rude, expensive more

After moving back home from college, I was trying to find someone who I could trust to do my hair. I went to a few places and was not please. Then when I went to Kobra I finally found the right place! Mandanna is probably the most wonderful and compassionate person. She is always wiling to take the time and go over and beyond to make her clients happy. She is always showing me what the new and upcoming hairstyles are and takes the time to show me different ways to do my hair. I have been going their for a year now and I always leave feeling pleased. Mandanna truly cares about her clients and wants nothing more to make them feel good and beautiful about themselves. Hi!\r I went to Kobra Salon for the first time last year. I noticed that others were talking about their bad experiences with hair extensions, but I got mine done there after I had a horrible experience elsewhere. Mandana spent 3 hours on my hair getting rid of my old extensions that left my hair terribly damaged and replaced them with great hair extensions. I felt her prices were very reasonable since I went to other salons before and they would charge me more for them. She was very polite and understanding with my hair shape and went over and beyond to make me feel confident again with my hair! I got hair extensions at this salon. I should have researched more and asked to see before and after pictures but I didn't. The owner, who was not polite, and her mother did them. The mother does not speak english at all and I found out later does not even have a beauticians license. I was charged close to 2 thousand dollars and my extensions looked awful. My hair looked like a mullet with stringy pieces on the back. About 20+ fell out within 2 weeks. They wanted to charge me for more hair and refused to just fix them. I later found out that many people have had bad experiences there and a stylist who worked there before said that many people were ripped off. I don't usually complain but in this case people should be warned. I spent another 1300 at another salon and now I absolutely love my hair. I wish I had found this out first!
