When we bought the car in 2008 from Mancini Auto Sales, Waterbury, Connecticut, the odometer on this car showed 82,000 miles.
I had checked the CARFAX a day before I bought it and it showed clear title. In 2011 when I wanted to sell the same car, I find an odometer discrepancy. It shows tampering of Odometer and mileage in the duration when the car was with this dealer.
Because the odometer was tampered just before selling the car, it didn't show up in the CARFAX then.
This dealer is not reliable. He tampers the odometer before selling the car and you can no way trace if when u buy it. By the time it shows up in CARFAX, it's too late.
