Rapper Flesh and Bones from Bones Thugs n Harmony. Came into the Mama's Plantation Restaurant to eat they loved the place. They took pictures of everything, they tweeted, they facebooked, they instagram mama's picture..I got free advertising all over the place. They came in Friday 26, 2013, loved the food.. I love their energy, and free spirit. I have a award winning restaurant. thank you citygrid and citysearch. Since I joined Citysearch great things have been happening...They said,"" that Mama's Plantation Restaurant came up highly recommended""...I am just beside my self so happy!!!! Come and dine with us!!! more

The previous review submitted by dewitch, sounds suspicuously like a dilberate attempt to tear down this restaurant. Contradictions were noted in your comment: you did not get sweet tea, then you did get sweet tea. You were waited on, but yet there were no servers. Again this sounds like a malicious attack for what ever reason and should be regarded as such. This is a lovely restaurant with delicous clean food , and highly trained staff. I would suggest you schedule another visit , when you are less angry and full of jealousy which obviously prohibited your experience.\r P.S. I have heard of bed and breakfast establishments, but never a bread and breakfast , is this a new venue we should all try? more

We had our book club here tonight with 6 attending. Aside from another couple, we were the only patrons. We were immediately greeted and sat at small round tables that were pushed together. The service was slow. It took too long to get our drinks and even longer to get our salad. There are 2 TV sets going but the sound and service was not working properly so you could not watch the show. The noise was irritating. more

Mama's Southern Plantation restaurant has moved to 1394 S. West Temple across from Franklin Covey Baseball Field. The food is second to none. It has drawn satisfied crowds from around the globe. The menu includes delightful mouth watering: fresh catfish, Collard greens, sweet potaoe pie. Peach, Apple, Blackberry, and Cherry Cobblers. With Bar-B-Que that makes you pat your foot. You owe it to yourself to stop by and enjoy true southern cooking with Soul!! Mama's recipe's are exquisite, and the service is second to none.
