Client for a decade! 4/30/2011

I have been a client at Mamaroneck Vet for over 10 years now. I have experienced all the different staff that have been at Mamaroneck Vet and never had any complaints. However, I think the staff at Mamaroneck currently is the best group yet! They legitimately care about the animals and their owners and do their best to make sure everyone is satisfied. The veterinarians are not only great doctors, but they are legitimately caring people who love their job. more

BETTER THAN MY OWN DOCTOR'S CARE!! 4/26/2011

We just moved to Westchester from the Long Island and didn't have a vet for our dog Ginger in town. On the day we were moving into the new house, she was running in the yard and cut her back leg badly. There was blood everywhere! We saw Dr. Gilbert at Mamaroneck Vet Hospital and he took us right in, cared for Ginger's wound, stitched her up with a local anesthesia and had us on our way home within an hour. The staff was great! They called us the next day to check on Ginger, and the vet saw us for her recheck and stitch removal even though it was his day off! If my own doctor gave me that kind of attention I would be shocked and happy. We've definitely found a new vet for Ginger here and strongly recommend them to anyone else who loves their pets!! more

Stay Away save your wallet and your pet! 9/23/2009

I left my 10lb shih tzu here for the first time when I went to see my grandmother in Florida who just had surgery. When I returned they tried to charge me an additional $200 on top of the $500 they charged for one week saying my 10 lb dog was agressive! On top of that his fur was stained yellow, like he had been sitting in his own urine the entire time! Furthermore he had a strange rash that I just found out is most likely an allergic reaction to FLEAS... which he did not have before staying there! Please do yourself and your pet a favor and STAY WAY!!! Pros: none Cons: Overpriced and try to add fees at checkout, FLEAS, rude staf more
