I have lived in many towns and grew up in the restaraunt business, I know good food and Mama Lisa's is the best italian in all of Brookhaven town, maybe even suffolk cty. \r \r What makes Mama Lisa's in Mastic the best is:\r 1. Always Consistant...the food is always the same great quality. In all the years I have been ordering at least onece a week only once did they forget my salad.\r \r 2. I recently moved to Mastic Beach from Queens and I took my family to Mama Lisa for dinner, I must say this was by far the worst food I tasted, even a diner makes better food. The garlic bread was first served with a bunch of melted cheese on it, then when I asked them to change it the second one came soaked in oil, the Pasta-a-la vodka looked and tasted like mac and cheese, the veal-marsala(which is NO VEAL) was 3.4"" thin tasted like cardboard and seemed like a can of campbells mushroom sauce was poured over it. Service took forever because there were only two girls doing their best waiting on 10 tables. I really do not know what the other reviewers are talking about, (1) they must be management blowing their own horn Or (2) people who have not tasted good Italian food.
