Fine jewelry at unbelievably low prices! 4/25/2006

They have a large selection of gorgeous gold and sterling silver jewelry at the lowest prices around. I never could understand how they could always beat other jewelry stores but they have been in business for more than 20 years and as long as they are open...I will be a forever fan of theirs. Maloof's carries high quality items. I highly recommend!!! Especially at the holiday times when you have to buy more than one gift. more

NICE PLACE 11/19/2005

Needed to get a gift for a friend and stopped in to Maloofs. They had great selection and seemed to be able to help me find the right jewelry . They did so without directing me to the highest priced items. She seemed to listen to what I was looking for. While I was deciding on my purchase she noticed my watch could use a repair and they did it for free before I made my decsion to buy something. The gift was a great success . I will be back to Maloof to do some christmas shopping! more

I love going into this store they have so much beautiful jewelry it could take you hours to look at it all. they have so much beautiful stuff there. You really have to go there to appreciate it.I love going inthere and just checking out all the rings and necklaces. They also have gift items. And the they do sizings and repairs too. Great repair service 8/11/2005

Maloof's has been around for a long time and for good reason - they value their customers. I have had several pieces repaired there and all have come back to me looking exceptional. You have to be able to trust your jeweler with your valuable pieces and I trust this place wholeheartedly. They are also able to design pieces of jewelry, which is not very advertised. I needed a wedding band to match my engagement ring and they custom made one for me and it is perfect. You can also find Water Crystal here, including discontinued pieces. If you are looking for a nice gift, check this place out. more

Nice place to purchase jewelry 7/31/2005

This is a well known jewely business in our city. Parking is ample, with a large lot on the side and in front. This store can be a bit pricey, depending on your past experiences with prices and jewelry. Service is good but is gets quite busy, especially around the holidays. Would not be unusual to wait 30 minutes to be waited on, after grabbing a number during the holidays! Arrive EARLY! They also sell beanie babies, Ylardo, clocks, and luggage. more

  • Back in the 1930s when economic times were tough, most kids were still scheming to cut class or line up a date for Friday night. Fred Maloof, in his mid-teens, was worried about hiring a reliable staff, doing the books and ordering enough ice cream. Maloof was probably the only kid at St. Charles Borromeo High School in Detroit who ran his own store at the age of 15! His father actually turned the family dairy bar over to him at this young age, giving flight to his illustrious retail career.Today, Maloof no longer owns the dairy bar, as jewelry has become his specialty. He is the owner of Maloof Jewelry and Gifts, an established St. Clair Shores retail institution.Maloof's customers have always been loyal. "We have second, third and fourth generation customers. People come in and tell me their grandparents bought their wedding rings from me and now they want to do the same", exclaims Maloof. The store represents one of Michigan 's largest and most respected selections of jewelry. People come from all over Michigan (and beyond ) to take advantage of the superior selection. Maloof Jewelers has twice moved to larger quarters before settling 22 years ago in its current location at 28525 Harper in St. Clair Shores..
