Malley's Chocolates is another reason to visit Cleveland 1/1/2007

When I was in college, a friend of mine was from Cleveland, OH and first introduced me to Malley's chocolates! My first taste was of their dark chocolate bunny for Easter....it was the most creamy, smooth dark chocolate I have ever tasted! I've since been to their stores and love their hot fudge sundaes and chocolate covered pretzels....not to mention their delicious, signature Billy Bobs!! Whether you're a native of Cleveland or just passing through, you won't be disappointed if you stop in for a treat at Malley's!! more

Not this man's hometown favorite 11/16/2005

Malley's may have been in business over 70 years, but I sure haven't given them business. They have had over 3 generations of Malley's that makes their chocolate. Their Gold Cup Chocolates and creams, chews, and nut clusters have been a favorite for most of their customers. They have a signature creation blend with 20 fillings with creamy milk or dark chocolate which is supposed to be great. This may be for others, but I sure don't enjoy any of their chocolates. However, I must be the minority! more

I must be the only one... 11/4/2005

Am I the only person in Cleveland that thinks Malley's chocolate is just ok. I mean it is not great by any means. I would choose a nice hershy bar over malley's any day. I have also been to the some of the tented events that they sponsor. All I have to say is: Clean up your parking lot before you invite the public there! We got out of our car and stepped out into 2 broken beer bottles and a condom. Gross! more

If only it was as good ... 8/20/2005

Please don't throw tomatoes for what I'm about to type. I just don't care for Malley's chocolate. They have other candies which are fine, but their chocolate just has a funny taste. I know Clevelander's have grown up with them loving that taste, but it's not for me. The store does smell fantastic when you go in but don't go there near a holdiday - if you do, expect long lines and parking lot woes. more

Candy Store 5/18/2005

The smell when you walk in the door is heavenly. Their candy is delicious. But what I like best is their hot fudge sundaes. They give you the fudge sauce on the side in a special container. This way it is hot fudge all the way to the end of the sundae. more
