It sad how anyone can write about a company that really has never done business with them or can do the right thing and go to the business and take care of the real situation, but you sure can trash a company any where on the internet without proof...SAD world we live in these days...GREAT business and has been around more than 20 years! Same owner as well...NOW that's odd these days! more

Great place! 9/29/2011

Greg and his crew at Malibu's were knowledgeable and friendly. They know their business and they know their stock. Malibu's will definitely be my first stop for auto accessories from now on. I recommend them whole heartedly. more

Good Place 3/15/2011

Malibu's did a great job for me. The installed new tint and removed the ancient tint that was original since 1999. They made two keyless remotes and made me a spare key, (the kind with a computer chip). Right after they were done with my car, the blinkers on my car quit. I was just SURE it was something they must have mistakingly done. I took the car back to them. Greg got it right back in the shop and checked every possible item. They told me it was my flasher display unit. I thought to myself that this cant be so, still thinking it was something they had done to my car. I was not 100% happy when I left but they were still offering to help. Anyway, i changed the flasher panel and it fixed the problem. Malibu's took some mild "heat" from me even though it was not thier fault. They never showed less than professionalism. I would and will use them again. They have fair prices... they are not high but they aren't cheap. They don't offer cheap stuff. They offer only "good" stuff at a fair price. Nice staff, good place!! more

Expensive, and end product lacked quality 9/26/2010

I had to take it back to Malibu's 7 times, before they found the loose connection on the back of the head unit; that kept making the music cut-out. Not to mention the dash had glue drops on it in multiple areas, and the "custom" box does not fit in my vehicle like it was made custom for it. I paid them for a quality job, but that is not what I received in any fashion, I do not recommend this place to anybody. I regret ever taking my vehicle to them completely. They talk a good game there, but their end product was junk. Oh, yes, they lost some of the screws to put the panels back on my doors, I had to go to the dealer and get replacements. Shortly after the tech that worked on my car was fired for his effort, however, it was a painful lesson on me for ever going to them in the first place. I'm certain Greg can do good work, but, he does not do everything there himself, and as a result the quality suffers. more

Free insults when you walk in the door 8/20/2009

My company and I have done business with Malibu in the past and they have always done good work. I havent been there in a year or so until yesterday when I was looking to get bed-liners sprayed in my company vehicles and for some rearview cameras for my company vans. As soon as my business partner and I walked in the door the clerk insulted us and I was convinced I would not do business here. I looked at some of the rearview mirror cameras to compare pricing and they are very high here. I can buy the same exact models installed by Jackie Cooper Electronics for considerably less. I cannot believe that in this economy any business owner would allow his employees to be anything other than gracious and accomodating to customers. I have never before been greeted in any business establishment with an insult as soon as I walked in the door. Cons: Smart Alec Desk Clerk-prices higher than competition more

I was already told by a previous mechanic and a Toyota dealer what was probably wrong with my vehicle but I did not say anything to Malibu. They figured it out themselves with no help. I was told by Toyota it would cost almost $500.00 to fix my car and the mechanic who told me what was wrong previously which I would not recommend (Piggs Automotive behind Oriellys) said I would have to take it to the Toyota dealer to have it fixed. Well guess what Malibu fixed it for 220.00 and left the broken part in my car to verify work was done. How many mechanics do we know that would do that? You just can't beat honesty these days!!!!!!!! Pros: Repair done was cheaper than anywhere else more

Rim's and service 12/2/2008

We took my vehicle to Malibu's to get new rim's put on it - I picked it up and the next day drove it less then 50 miles before the front end started to act weird. At first I thought I had a flat tire, but after inspecting the vehicle could not find anything that was noticeable. I called Malibu's and they said to bring it by and they would look at it. I think because I was female they blew me off like it was just out of alignment. I had to call them back less then ten minutes later because as I was getting on the highway I had to pull off of the side of the road because it was being uncontrollable. When I stopped on the side of the road my vehicle jerked and all of my lug nuts fell off of my vehicle and was laying on the road. My tire luckily did not come out from under my vehicle but it did come off of my posts. They did replace the rim and the lug nuts on the vehicle, but that caused more problems. When they tightened my lug nuts they over did it and stripped out my posts and lug nuts so when i went to have the tires rotated I had to take it back to them. They did replace the post and lug nuts but made us pay for the rotation. The next day when we took it to a different company to have them align it and make sure it was put on okay - the post broke off of the wheel. It is now back at Malibu's waiting to be fixed. I recommend going somewhere who has more experience putting on tires and rims. more
