Actually, Malen & Associates are ok, not as bad as others collection agencies. The lady Jennifer was very nice speaking to me. The only thing I dislike was the paper was left open taped on my outside door for everyone to see. This is why I didn't give it more stars. more

This so-called debt collection company is the biggest joke on the planet. My girlfriend got a ""judgement"" from this company for a credit card debt that wasen't even hers. They wound up garnishing her pay for nearly $3000 before she got hurt and when on worker's comp. They continued to send threatening letters and even left a so-called court summons taped on my parents door wide open (not even in an envelope) for anyone to see. Now, they have put a block on MY bank Safety Deposit box because I listed her as someone to get documents for me if I couldn't get there. Everything in the box is MINE except her birth certificate, tax returns & S.S. card. This should be totally illegal for this company to try pulling this. And on top of it, they won't talk to me even though it's my box. They told her they'd release the box if she made an immediate payment of over $2000....this is a joke. Don't deal with this company at all....if your a company looking for debt management, find someone else whose reliable and HONEST. If you are a debtor or they contact you saying you are, fight them till the end....don't give them a red cent....they are fraudsters and absolutely useless!!! Hire an attorney if need be and sue them...they need to be charged with fraud, conspiracy and racketeering! This scamming company needs to be shutdown for good!!! If anyone reading this has experianced bullying and scare tactics from this shady company...please post them here for everyone to read......Thanks! This Company Commits perjury on a frequent basis to extort money from private citizens. They waste money pursuing frivolous cases at their client's expense. Malen & Assts. PC is a corrupt enterprise and has many complaints filed against them with the district attorney's office of Nassau County, New York County and Suffolk County and is the named defendant in several federal cases nationwide. Malen and Associates is the worst company around. They go around fronting as lawyers but they can't produce on shred of evidence proving themselves. They need to be turned over to the FBI for investigation and I they do have a legitimate liscense to practice law they should of thought of that before supply illegal court documentation. They are nothing but racketeers and fraud artists. They should be accountable for their actions instead of hiding behind there bar exam. I received a charge to my bank account from malen and associates. When i called up to question the charges they told me that they have a judgement against me and that I owe them another $32.00. When I questioned who they were and what the judgement was for they told me that it was for the purchase of a gateway computer from 8 years ago. I would like to state for the record that eight years ago I was 16 and unable to apply for credit. I asked them if they could provide with documents supporting this claim that i have never heard of they told me that they dont have to provide me with anything and that if i dont pay them the $32.00 they will garnish my wages. I'm not sure what computer cost $132.00 even in 2000! They refuse to return my calls or provide me with any documentation supporting anything that they are alledging and to make matters even worse the gentleman ""Scott"" that i spoke was really nasty raising his voice and such, the receptionist is also rude, and the supervisor never answers her phone or returns any phone messages left for her. At this point I am inclined to agree with the rest of the review writers that Malen and Associates for lack of providing any legal documentation for the alledged judgement and charge to my bank account. Rough customer service and lack of regard for the feelings of the person(s) they are ripping off legally or otherwise. I wouldnt recommend them for anything not even so much as a traffic ticket or j-walking. They have not heard the last of me and they will refund my $100, it is not the money it is the principal surrounding the situation. They are not consumer friendly at all, they act asthough you have personally offended them for not accepting their word and wanting proof of whatever judements or documents they have to support the allegations that they pin on you the unsuspecting consumer. THESE DOCUMENTS ARE FALSE, AS THERE IS NO ACTUAL COURT DATE IN PRINT, AND THEY PUT ""WE ARE A DEBT COLLECTOR"" IN THE SAME TYPE FACE AT THE BOTTOM.
