To anyone thinking of using him I would recommend to check with the Oregon Medical Board and the class action lawsuits. My life has been changed forever with over 7 procedures, where after every procdure I came out having more complications and more problems. ??Then eventually after viewing an MRI, after being a client of Dr. Makker's for over 7 years, I was referred to another specialist,, who informed me that some those procedures were unnecessary . As a result of his last procedure he has caused permanent damage to 2 other parts of my body, caused by nerve damage from his procedure. This is causing serious life changing conditions, emotionally, physically and financially for the rest of my life. ??He has moved ??to a new location claiming, for his clients convenience, this is not correct, his privileges to do surgical procedures were revoked by Providence Hospital. ??In my opinion this says enough.?? more

Dr.Makker has been a wonderful doctor. He is always kind and courteous to patients and always willing to listen and wants the best quality of life for his patients. He has helped me and is still helping me with my back issues. I rate him very high because of the work he has done for me and the way he relates to me as a person. He is always looking out for the best interest of me as a patient. He is always honest with me and I only trust him to do any type of back surgery on me. His knowledge of his field is outstanding. I don't know what I would do without him! He is all around the best doctor I have ever had. more

The referral to Dr. Makker was one of the best things that ever happened to me. My hands were always numb, I was dropping things all the time and I was constantly getting headaches. more

Dr. Makker is the most polite and helpful doctor I have met. I had a C-5 to C-6 fusion and diskectomy and replacement in October of 2010. He has truly helped me to get my life back! I did not have to wait for moths and months to get my surgery done and to schedule the needed MRI. He is fast and very efficient and would highly recommend him to any one for a great doctor! He is also very polite and attentive to the patients needs more

After two failed neck fusions on C5-6 in 2007 and 2009. Countless trips to OHSU for pain management and expensive nerve burning,shots,thyspical therapy and the final blow, learn to live with it, I found the man who gave me the relief I needed. Simple day surgery with an alternative graft source and the nerve irritation making my life so miserable was addressed professionaly, with compassion and complete understanding between Dr Makker and myself.
