I have been a long term belly dancr who was looking to take classes with a new instructor to improve my dancing. After an audition, Fariba promptly told me I was terrible at belly dance (not a good choice on her part, as I have danced in belly dancer competitions and been told I am quite a good dancer) She then began to tell me how her girls go pro after three years and, essentially, my years of dance training was a waste and I was essentially a beginner. If this were true it would have been a godsend to have found this studio... until you look at her girls dance. Her troupe is sloppy in choreography, lacks stage presence, and doesn't have any of the happiness and vitality you see in great dancers, like Fifi Abdou or Dina. I have no idea what her pros looks like, but of her troupe is any indication, I don't want to see them. I wish I could say something good about this studio, but honestly it seems like students are forced to go beyond their dance limits and then lack the technical sk
