Mainstreet Grill Inc

We have been going to the Mainstreet Grille for over 10 years recently I took my family there on Saturday for the Prime Rib dinner. Unfortunatly over the past 2 years the food has declined like so many other establishments with smaller portions, and less than fresh produce. Our meals arrived to the table and I was so embrassed, 3 of our prime rib were normal portion size but one of the dinners looked as though it had been torn up and put back together. It was in several pieces, with a grayish tint. The waitress never came near our table until 15 minutes later. I should have sent the plate back but it was late and my mother did not want to make a fuss. Nevertheless she told me that she never wants to return to the Mainstreet Grill. There are so few resturants in Deland and it's too bad the management has not been more attentive to the quality of food going out from the kitchen. Hidden away in the basement of an office building on the corner of Woodland boulevard (Hwy. 17-92) and New York Avenue (Hwy. 44) is the most amazing little restaurant. The food is superb and the salads come with the most SUPERB cinnamon roll (yes, cinnamon roll!) that you have ever eaten. There is a great selection of comfort foods, all of which are delicious.
