I have lived at this co-op for over 12 years. The lawsuits for discrimination have turned out to have no basis. If you read only what is in the paper you get a very slanted view. The board members are all owners and apartments are owner occupied according to the by-laws. If someone has a problem with their apartment or the grounds they can complete a service request and have the issue addressed. The co-op has a reasonable maintenance which includes heat, hot water, electric and gas, inexpensive parking and a new playground. The garbage cans are not overflowing outside, you are near PS 219 (elementary school), Townsend Harris High School and Queens College. The board members actually listen to any request you make and management has not made any mistakes in the past 12 years on my maintenance. I have no complaints other than a flip tax but I knew about that when I moved in and do not plan on moving out anytime soon.
Pros: Board Members are all Owners and they care
