Amazing Consignment Store! 3/12/2012

One of the best women's consignment stores! I have been shopping here since I was in high school. I LOVE IT! They have a great selection of designer jeans and dresses! Sure they don't take all of my clothes that I want to get rid of, but I don't take it personally! The store is picky about what they take, but that is why they have such great selection to choose from. The store has been there for over 30 years so they know what they are doing! The women that work there are so great and helpful. They are even nice when I bring in my kids. If you haven't been here before, give it a try! more

Despicable behavior, lousy inventory! 2/10/2011

Rude, inefficient service! The ladies who check in your consignments need attitude adjustments and lessons in customer service. They take their sweet time when the check-in liine is long while they lamely gossip! When it is your turn, they arrogantly tell you that your items are either too late for winter or too early for spring/summer! Everything is "out of style" but they must be blind because the majority of the store's merchandise is old, shabby and unattractive. Don't even look at the overpriced jewelry! more

Main Street Rags is great way to make some bucks! 8/24/2009

This is a great way to fill your pocketbook with some cash for a new wardrobe. Although they are picky on what they will take. Everything is pretty current in the store and mostly name brands. They give you more then you would get from a yardsale and all you have to do is drop it off clean and on hangers! They will give you cash as it sells. Easy as that! more

Main Street Rags is worth checking out 6/12/2009

I have been to this store a few times and purchased a couple of things. I have thought about selling some items there but haven't yet. Worth going in and checking out - you never know when you might get lucky and find something that fits and is really cool. more

Convenient location, though on-street parking difficult as it's on busy Main Street. Cozy shop. Seems to cater to a young crowd. Small selection of shoes, bags. Trendy clothes. Some items seem a bit worn. Customer service could be upped a notch or two. A bit stand-offish. more

consignment shop 11/22/2005

Main Street Rags has a great location right in downtown Walnut Creek, so I always stop in when I'm in the area. This is a consignment shop for women's clothes, and it seems more catered to the older crowd, with name branded career wear and basics. That said, I usually shop in the juniors section of most stores ,but I've still been able to find a gem or two here. They have some great special occasion dresses as well. more
