I should have known before I even sat down. The walls were filthy, the floor was disgusting, and the buzzing of the refrigerator was consuming. However, against my better judgment, I ate at the ""Jewel of India."" It was a jewel all right ... never in my life have I had a worse dining experience. The food was greasy and bland and the service was slow and rude. My husband ordered the corn soup and didn't even try it because the broth looked like raw eggs. At the end of meal our waitress told my husband that he ""would be punished,"" for not trying the soup ... we didn't know what that meant but we didn't ask! I got vegetable dumplings in what was supposed to be a ""fresh homemade yogurt sauce,"" but it tasted more like greasy french fries in alfredo sauce. To top off the bad experience, it was expensive. If you value your time, money, and appetite, this is not the place for you.
Pros: None... at all!
Cons: Food, service, ambience and everything else!
