The Areas Treasure 12/31/2008

I recently went to this store in search of some help. They were so nice and helpful. They answered all my questions and directed me in the right direction. THe owner even showed me around the store and introduced me to other customers who were there. I am new to the area, and it was just what I needed. I felt so welcome. I was not pressured to purchase anything, they were just wonderful. I returned and then purchased a wonderful machine. What good will ambasadors for the area. They have my business, for sure Pros: The ""kitchyness"" of the place Cons: I sure could not find any more

This is the best place in the world. They know how to have fun. The owner is awesome and everyone loves her. She never says anything bad about anyone and is very welcoming. Pros: the whole experience more

Worst Sewing Store 9/9/2008

I find this store unappealing and the proprietor to be of questionable character. I was at a seminar at this store and the store owner thought it would be fun to have male topless waiters serving refreshments. This is totally tasteless. I also heard the owner speaking to a customer regarding other businesses in the area. She did nothing but put them down. I will never shop in this store. more

no parking 9/9/2008

I felt like I was pulling over the curb to park. And leaving was even worse as there is no place to turn around and backing into busy traffic is impossible. You really need to watch your step here as each of the small rooms seems to be a tiny step up or down. No fabric selection but many embroidery design items. While there I overheard the owner complaining about customers who want her to tell them how to fix thier machines - her comment was she doesn't ask them how to do thier job. I don't think I want to be a customer and be discussed negatively when I leave if I have a question. One of the staff was friendly, owner was not, I felt as though I was intruding. The nicest and most knowledgeable bunch of folks you wil ever meet. The best in the area, bar none. Don't waste your time going elsewere, because they are THE best Pros: Thumbs up for sure Cons: none I could see more

Fantastic Place 12/28/2006

This place is totally customer oriented. They will work with you and have more patience than I have seen in a long time. They helped me pick a machine and pointed me, not to the most expensive, but the one that suited MY needs. They also have a lot of neat accessorys and notions. Pros: Friendly place. Lot of fun.
