Bowling is always a great casual activity and Main Event's graphical LCD displays add to the fun. The place also has a decent arcade, although a lot of popular games I expected were not there. A few games were also in Japanese, which was difficult to say the least. They have several of those motion-based arcade games like the boxing game and some DDR-spinoffs. I would have liked Silent Scope or Virtua Fighter 4 to be carried as well. They also have laser tag and the setup is very good. It's like most laser tag places so it's not anything spectacular, but it's still loads of fun. They provide scoresheets to let you know how you did, and if there are enough people, they add some special features like rapid fire. They also have several TVs which show various sporting events... a very nice feature, especially in the middle of college football season. I managed to catch several very good games while hanging out with friends. Great for multitasking. more

A great place to go to just about any time of day. We normally go after dinner. So many games for adults and kids. Bowling lanes are new and the atmosphere is so good. Main Event is a wonderful place to visit if you want to splash out a bit. I really enjoy their bowling and the atmosphere they create with the lights, music etc. It is very kid friendly - young kids that is with the bowling lane guards that come up. Main Event also hosts kids parties and they are very reasonable for what you get. They provide you with a party host who takes care of you for the whole time and even does the clean up. Bowling can be a bit pricey but worth it every now and then. more

I've written several reviews for party places, but this is something I know a bit about. My friends and I are always planning birthdays for our large circle of friends. Because we want to include our friends, our families and our younger siblings, we look for places where everyone can have a good time. Boy, is Main Event such a place! My parents enjoy sitting and chatting in the bar, my younger sister and her friends pile into the arcade (and collect massive amounts of prize tickets), my dad and his buddies chase each other around the lazer tag arena, and me and my friends listen to music and bowl. It's a pretty awesome place. I suggest you check it out. more

This facility features two different laser tag fields. One is designed for individual public use and one for mostly groups. The group field is a multi-story, black-lit field and much larger. Both fields have starfield designs that are black-light reactive, and are very appealing to the eyes. The fields are brand new, they have up-to-date equipment, and variable game play settings. Main Event also has special rates for all you can play on Mondays, which makes gaming affordable. more

If you're looking for a fun outing that will please everyone in the family, consider a trip to Main Event. Located conveniently on the access road to Interstate 75, this theater-sized facility offers bowling, lazer tag, an incredible arcade (with simulators, rides, prize games, and stand-up games), and, for the grown-ups, a fully-stocked bar. The black light arena is two levels and draws tournament players from across the world. There is ample good parking and the cost to play is reasonable. Monday night specials allow for all you can play for a single price. Great place for family fun, parties, team-building and groups. I just had my son's 6th birthday party here and he was one happy guy. You get your own private room where you can have cake and a choice of a meal item (burgers, hot dogs or pizza -- not required, I don't think). The kids bowl (if they're young, they get bumpers so no one's bowling ball goes into the gutter!). There are a variety of party options such as with or without video games, with or without food, laser tag, etc. It went smoothly and we weren't kept waiting (not a good thing with 6-year-olds) during the entire party. The birthday kid gets a decorated bowling pin (a whole one, not a half) with his name on it. PROS: Organized, parents don't do a thing, variety, entertaining CONS: None more

Great family entertainment! Nice place to take your family or have a birthday party. Rates are comparable, food is good, large establishment that has lots to offer. They have lots of bowling lanes, they will also give you socks if you forgot yours - and they are new! Laser Tag is fun and good for kids 6 and up. This place has many games for adults and kids. They have bowling alley, pool tables, shuffle board, laser tags and video games. This place has a fast food joint too. The customer service is excellent. They provide coupons for off peak hours. They have special discounts on Mondays. I love the Laser tag game at this facility. It's a huge play area. It's a fun place for group events. more
