Main Event Caterers

My wife and I have attended several events catered by Main Event and the food is for the most part Glatt terrible! Examples are turkey that tasted and looked liked it never came from a real turkey, brisket like hard straw, greasy pasta, caviar that was horrible, crummy sliders, awful desserts and topped off by terrible help who bump into you, insist on passing first and barely speak English! more

I would never use main event because having seen how horrendously they treat their employees I would not support such a business on that basis alone. Screaming at employees is not acceptable in my opinion. With that said you might find my opinion biased from the outset, but being subjected to their food on a weekly basis I feel it necessary to also give you my honest opinion concerning their food (as this is what most people are concerned with choosing a caterer). I find that their food is extremely bland. One would think that a caterer would serve some food that is bland for the folks with milder taste buds, but also seasoned and spiced food for those with a more developed palete. Well that is not the case, and it is as if all their food is prepared for infants. more

Main Event takes weeks to return your calls. I gave them $2500 to send a contract. When it took weeks to receive the contract, I wantedmy check back. there was no receipt, no signed contract and no catering services provided and they won't return the check. Main Event is criminal. And guess what happens when i ask Mr. Bodner for the check, he doesn't return the call. STAY AWAY! more

The Main Event Caterers do a fantastic job for any event for which you need caterers. They are glatt kosher and can do meat or dairy affairs. Their food is delicious and their prices are expensive because they're kosher, but reasonable compared to the competition. They can prepare any kind of food you like and everything I've ever tried has been great. They are professional and will assure you that your event will definitely be a success. more
